How do you build the most basic wood dog house?
I want to use the flatboard pieces of wood. So, I was thinking one for each wall and then two for the slanted triangle shaped roof. The front wall I would just cut out a rectangle shape for the door. But there's this part is confusing me. How do I make the front and back of the house fit into the triangle opening of the roof, so that there's won't be a triangle shape hole on both sides. I wouldn't have this problem if I did a flat roof because I could just lay one piece of board on top. Sorry if I'm confusing you. Please help with intructions and what materials
How much would it cost to make a plain 3' x 3' x 3' wood dog house?
I want to build my own doghouse. I am not going to put shingles on, or anything like that. Basically, it will be a 4 feet high x 3 feet long x 3 feet deep box. I will buy weather treating paint and I also can bring it inside when it's winter, so it doesn't need to be snow proof, but I am just wondering how much the wood would cost. Painting a cedear wood dog house?
I have a cedear wood dog house, I just bought it used, It looks like it was standing outside for a while. I want to paint it, because it has the natural finish on it. I am wondering what do you use to paint this dog house, and what to use for clean up.Would I use wood stain????? anything also to protect it from the rain????Thanks Kamil
