How do I use a roller on a wood house where the each piece overlaps the other?
I was going to spray paint my house, but every afternoon, it rains and so I can't rent a sprayer. Every day the plastic covering the windows is blown off. By the time I get the plastic back on, it is the afternoon when it starts to rain. If I rent a sprayer, I pay for 24 hours and miss several hours per day while the rain dries up. There is no guarantee of how much rain we will get. It could last an hour or four hours. So, I was thinking of going to plan B, but I really don't have the time to hand brush the house, so I was going to use a roller. I guess I could go sideways. I just think it is going to be a pain, because it seems each piece of wood has to be painted separately. Any advice.

I have one of those homes built with fake wood boards that overlap each other. When I look underneath the overlapping board, it is usually snug against the bottom board but a few have a gap of 1 8 inch. One man in my neighborhood caulked every single board joint and another said the first man wasted his time because moisture or condensation needs a way to get out.
